*POSITION FILLED* Experienced Full-Time Nanny Needed for Growing Family in College Grove, TN -$35/hour - Job #278

A family of 4 in College Grove is looking for an experienced nanny to become a part of the family and help care for their toddler twins + baby due in the spring. Interested candidates should also have both infant and toddler experience. The ideal candidate will work together with the parents to keep the kids on schedule and create enriching days. The twins have lots of activities and classes, so the nanny will either be assisting with these activities or assisting with newborn care come March. When full-time, the typical schedule will be M-F, around 35-40 hours a week.They would love to find someone who is very reliable, knowledgeable, and flexible and interested in working with both newborns and toddlers. In addition, the ideal candidate must be comfortable with a dog being present. Their ideal candidate is organized, nurturing, gentle, easy to get along with, and maintains professional boundaries. They are offering a compensation package of$35 gross per hour, DOE with guaranteed hours + paid vacation time, paid sick time, and paid holidays!

They describe their parenting style as gentle while using redirection and positive reinforcement and still enforcing firm boundaries. They believe in talking things through and allowing their kids to feel and work through their emotions. Their goal is to teach their kids to be kind and respectful. They are big on having the kids help clean up their toys and would like a nanny who will help instill age appropriate life skills and responsibilities. They are very big on safety and would like a nanny who is also safety conscious, especially when out and about with the kids. Their ideal candidate is great at coming up with developmentally appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, sensory bins, and more.They do try to keep a routine, so a nanny who identifies as more structured would be a good fit. During nap time, the nanny may be asked to help with some child-related tasks such as helping with laundry, tidying toys, cleaning up from lunch, prepping child meals/snacks, etc. and working in collaboration with mom to make sure both the infant and the toddlers are cared for. 

The twins are sweet, cuddly, and play together well. They enjoy music, art, and playing outside the most. This family had a wonderful experience with a previous long-term nanny/NCS whom they parted ways when they moved out of state. They very are excited to find the next person to join their family/team for ideally years to come!

DETAILS:
- Schedule: 35-40 hours guaranteed hours per week
- 3 children: 18-month-old twins; newborn expected March 2023
- Pets: 1 dog
- Start Date: December 2022, or earlier if available
- Duties: Childcare & child-related tasks; family task assistance

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years Professional Nanny experience
- Experience with toddlers and infants
- Up to date on current AAP safe sleep recommendations for infants
- Safe, reliable, & insured vehicle (mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate provided for any work-related drives)
- Confident swimmer
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Non-smoker / doesn’t live with someone who smokes
- Clean background and driving record
- Stellar references
- Able to commit a minimum of 1 year, but ideally several years for the right fit
- Up to date on vaccinations

COMPENSATION:
-$35 gross per hour, DOE
