*POSITION FILLED* Part-Time Nanny Needed for 3 Kids in Oak Hill - $30-$35/hour! - Job #690

A busy family of 5 is searching for a part-time nanny to care for their 3 children ages 5 and under. They just welcomed their new baby in February, so infant experience is a must! The older kids are in school, so most of the time the nanny will not have all 3 kids at the same time. The typical schedule will be M-F mornings through early afternoons + occasional date nights/weekends. They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. They will provide the schedule well in advance so the nanny can plan their life accordingly. They are offering 25-30 guaranteed hours per week depending on what the right candidate needs and the afternoons will always be free so the nanny is welcome to secure another part-time after-school position if they’d like. The compensation package includes $30-$35 gross per hour depending on experience, paid vacation, paid sick time, and paid holidays!

Their ideal candidate is educationally-minded, comes to work each day prepared with various activities to engage the children such as a sensory bin or craft, and is genuinely interested in fully focusing on the kids. Someone who loves to proactively research age-appropriate learning activities that promote fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and overall brain development, would be a great fit. If time allows they would appreciate help with child-related tasks, but their priority is to find someone who actively engages and plays with the children. With that said, they are looking for someone who takes initiative to clean up after themselves and the children throughout the day and before the end of their shift. Their older children are very busy, active, and have high energy. Interested candidates should be energetic, able to run around with the kids and keep up with them! They would love a nanny who balances at-home activities along with ample outdoor play such as the playground, swimming, running around, etc. Candidates who are punctual, communicative, and love to update with texts/pictures would be a great fit! Ultimately they are looking for a nanny who is experienced, bubbly, has an educational background, can uphold boundaries, and is safety conscious. 

They are a Christian family, so interested must be comfortable fostering these beliefs with their kids. They describe their parenting style as fairly strict. They enforce boundaries, honoring each other by saying sorry and instilling age-appropriate independence by teaching their children how to do things for themselves. They are big on routines, keep a tight sleep schedule, will be sleep training their new baby, and would like a nanny who will maintain these schedules when she is on the clock. They firmly follow AAP safe sleep guidelines for infants and interested candidates should be knowledgeable on this topic and committed to practicing safe sleep. They are nutrition-conscious and strike a balance between feeding typical kid foods while also trying to get their children to expand their palates and eat healthy meals/snacks. Mom is typically home, especially with the new baby, so interested candidates must be comfortable working alongside mom and tag-teaming when needed. With that said, mom does have plans to be in and out more, so they are looking for someone with the experience and confidence to provide full-charge childcare. There is the potential for travel maybe once per year, so a candidate open to travel would be a bonus. They are looking for someone long-term with a minimum of a 1-year commitment. 

DETAILS:
- Schedule: M-F, morning-early afternoon + occasional date nights/weekends
- 3 children: 5 and under
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duties: Full charge childcare + child-related tasks such as laundry, meal prep, tidying child areas, planning outings/activities, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of Professional Nanny experience
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Up to date on Influenza, Tdap, and Varicella vaccinations
- Confident Swimmer
- Non-smoker
- Clean background and driving record
- Stellar references

COMPENSATION:
- $30-$35 gross per hour, DOE for 25-30 guaranteed hours per week
