2 ROTA Nannies Needed in Brooklyn & Montauk - $100-$125k per year!! – Job #754

A busy and loving family in Brooklyn is in search of 2 ROTA nannies to join their family to help care for their children and keep their household running smoothly. They are open to whatever ROTA schedule works best for the nannies (i.e., 1 week on, 1 week off or 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, etc). They have 3 young children and a baby on the way, so interested candidates must have experience juggling the needs of multiple young children at one time! The kids are all in school, but the afternoons can be quite busy getting everyone to their respective activities. Their current weekday nanny has been with them for 6 years and they are seeking another person who is warm, dedicated, and looking for a long-term position for years to come! They are offering $100-$125k gross per year DOE, legal overtime, paid vacation and paid sick time!

They spend the school year in Brooklyn and the summers in Montauk. During the school year the nanny’s schedule will be live-out and during the summer it will be live-in. The nanny is responsible for getting themselves to/from Montauk but family will cover the cost of train/mileage. The nanny will have a private bedroom and bathroom while in Montauk as well as access to a vehicle for personal use as needed when coordinated in advance with the family. Dad works a demanding job so their goal is to ensure they have 365 days per year of child care, including during holidays and travel, while also creating a long-term work environment that provides consistency of employment hours and adequate flexibility for employees. Interested candidates should be a flexbile team player and have a strong ability to work well with others!

The job responsibilities will include providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children, planning and preparing healthy child meals/snacks, planning enriching days by engaging children in a variety of educational and recreational activities/outings/playdates, helping the children develop social and emotional skills, transporting children to/from school and activities, assisting with potty training, packing/unpacking for travel, maintaining a meticulously clean and organized environment for children’s areas, homework help, teaching children age appropriate responsibility and self-control, grocery shopping and ordering supplies as needed, suggesting and shopping for kid items, occasional basic errands, child laundry, occasional pet care, and traveling with family a few times per year.

DETAILS:
- Schedule: ROTA, live-out during school year in Brooklyn and live-in for shift during summer in Montauk
- Start Date: January/February 2024 (flexible for the right candidate)
- Duties: Full charge childcare + nanny/family assistant responsibilities
- Pets: 13 year old rescue Beagle

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years Professional Nanny experience
- Experience caring for multiple young children at one time
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive in the city
- Vaccinations - Flu, Covid, TDAP
- Strong swimmer
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Non smoker
- Clean background and driving record
- Stellar references and letters of recommendation
- Able to commit a minimum of 1 year
